The third internal training of Guoling Institute has been successfully carried out!
Diligence leads to diligence, but desolation leads to leisure. Although the pandemic in the spring of 2022 hindered our progress, it did not in any way affect our enthusiasm for learning.
On April 22, 2022, Shanghai Guoling Law Firm welcomed the "Hundred Year Craftsman" Guoling Craftsman Forum - and the third internal training course of Guoling Law Firm - as scheduled through online live streaming. In this training, Professor Shoubu, Honorary Director of Shanghai Guoling Law Firm, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Law School, was invited to provide a course on "Overall Planning of Software Copyright Infringement Case - Xiamen New Technology v. Xiamen Jinke Innovation Case" for all law firm members.
At the beginning of the course, Professor Shoubu provided an overall overview of computers, software, and software copyrights from three aspects: basic schematics, basic computer software terminology, and the main norms for protecting computer software copyrights in China. Although this section is a basic computer course, it is very helpful for understanding software copyright related content in the future.

Subsequently, we entered today's topic - "Overall Planning of Software Copyright Infringement Case - Xiamen New Technology v. Xiamen Jinke Innovation Case". From the situation of the parties involved to the facts of the case, and then to the relevant litigation documents, Professor Shoubu shares the overall case handling process and insights from the perspective of a lawyer.

At the end of the course, everyone exchanged their thoughts and insights with Professor Shoubu on the course content, and expressed that this course has brought more confidence to future agency related cases.
Regular legal knowledge and skills training can not only directly improve lawyers' professional abilities, but also promote lawyers to continuously improve themselves in the process of learning and thinking, making their future work more effortless.
