On June 16, 2020, the establishment and unveiling ceremony of the "Shanghai Jiao Tong University Trade Union Legal Consulting Center" jointly prepared by the Trade Union and Legal Affairs Office of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Kaiyuan Law School and Hillhouse Law Firm was held at the Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Mr. Zhang Ansheng, Vice President of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Mr. Yu Chaoyang, Chairman of the School Trade union, Mr. Wang Houji, Secretary of the Party Committee of Kaiyuan Law School, Mr. Zhao Xiuju, Director of the school's Legal Affairs Office, Mr. Dai Baoyin, Vice chairman of the school's Legal Affairs Office, Mr. Gao Hui, Secretary-General of the School's Alumni Association, Mr. Wang Yunli, the school's legal Affairs Office, and all the alumni lawyers of Guoling Law Firm attended the event.

At the establishment ceremony, Xue Tianhong, on behalf of Hillhouse Law Firm, and Zhang Ansheng, Standing Committee member and vice president of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, jointly unveiled the Trade Union Legal Advisory Center, and Jiao Hanwei, on behalf of Hillhouse Law Firm, exchanged gifts with his Alma mater. Subsequently, Vice President Zhang Ansheng awarded the "Consulting Lawyer of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Trade Union Legal Consulting Center" to seven alumni lawyers of Hillhouse, Xue Tianhong, Jiao Hanwei, Zhu Qin, Liu Yunzhou, Ping Yawei, Zou Yongfu and Ruth Guo. Finally, Xue Tianhong, as a lawyer representative, gave a lecture on "Age of Civil Code in Life" to the union members of the school.

The establishment of the "Shanghai Jiao Tong University Trade Union Legal Consulting Center" is an important event for Hillhouse Law Firm to practice the school motto of "Drinking water, thinking about the source, loving the country and honoring the school" with practical actions, and to support the construction and development of the Alma mater.
