At the beginning of 2020, Hillhouse Law Firm welcomes Associate Professor Qidi from Kaiyuan Law School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Dr. Chen Jidong, a young cadre from Shanghai University Law School, as its expert advisor, and sincerely welcomes Lawyer Ping Yawei to join us. The joining of the three outstanding talents will enhance the strength of Hillhouse in corporate compliance, civil and commercial dispute resolution, data compliance and other business sectors, and better provide high-quality legal services for Hillhouse clients.

Mr. Qimuti is currently an associate professor at the Kaiyuan School of Law, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and a doctor in the Graduate School of Law, Hokkaido University, Japan. He has long been committed to the research of theories and trial practice in the field of civil law. He once served as assistant to the president of the Minhang District People's Court of Shanghai. His associate professor has presided over and participated in a number of national, Ministry of Education, provincial social science planning projects and foreign social science research projects. He has published more than 30 civil law research papers in core journals at home and abroad, including academic achievements such as "Changes in China's social structure and Tort Law", "Comparison of creditor's Rights transfer System between China and Japan", and "the Effect of DATIO in Solutio". The theory is profound and has revelatory and constructive significance for the study of civil law in China.

Chen Jidong, currently a lecturer at the Law School of Shanghai University, tutor of postgraduate students, Executive Director of the Legal Research Center of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence of Shanghai University, was selected as the Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program (Pujiang Scholar) in 2018. Dr. Chen Jidong is mainly engaged in research on legal issues such as civil and commercial law, land law and artificial intelligence. He has published many articles and presided over and participated in more than 10 scientific research projects at provincial and ministerial level. His translation of the Dialogue between Artificial Intelligence and Law was selected as the designated material for the 2018 World Conference on Artificial Intelligence, and in recent years, he has led the research on the Theory and Practice of "Customs Entry" (2019 Youth Project of the Ministry of Education), and "Civil Law Response to Artificial Intelligence: A number of provincial and ministerial projects, including "Algorithm" interpretation as the center "(2018 Shanghai Zhe She Youth Project)," Frontier Research on Land Secondary Market Theory "(2018 External cooperation project of the Real Estate Registration Center of the Ministry of Land and Resources).

Ping Yawei graduated from Kaiyuan Law School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a Master's degree in Law. Before joining Hillhouse, Lawyer Ping Yawei worked in Xuhui Branch of Shanghai Administration for Industry and Commerce, Minhang Branch of Shanghai Food and Drug Administration, Minhang District Market Supervision and Administration and other government units, accumulating rich experience in corporate compliance practice. Mr. Ping is mainly engaged in the civil and commercial fields of contract law, company law, trademark law, advertising law and anti-unfair competition law.
