Professor Qi Muti [now] is an expert consultant of Guoling Law Firm. Associate Professor Qi Muti has long been committed to the research of theory and trial practice in the field of civil law. He once served as the assistant to the president of the People's Court of Minhang District, Shanghai, presided over and participated in the completion of a number of national, Ministry of Education, provincial social science planning projects and foreign social science research projects. He has published more than 30 civil law research papers in core journals at home and abroad, Among them, academic achievements such as the "Changes in Chinese Social Structure and Tort Law", "Comparison of China and Japan's Debt Transfer Systems", and "Effectiveness of Agency Settlement Agreements" have novel viewpoints and profound theories, which have enlightening and constructive significance for the study of civil law in China.

From April 1994 to March 1997, he worked in the Law Research Department (Master) of Hokkaido University in Japan.
From April 1997 to March 2000, he worked as a doctor in the Law Research Department of Hokkaido University in Japan.
From April 1998 to March 2000, worked as a special researcher at the Japan Association for the Promotion of Academic Progress.
From April 2006 to September 2006, he was a Visiting scholar of the Law Research Section of the University of Law and Political Science of Japan.
